![]() It s the first time I opened the CMOS settings.Įveryone knew what is the password given by the manufacturer? I checked my setup cmos but asking his password. I just bought my Satellite U400 - 12 p 2 weeks ago. Satellite U400 - 12 p - cmos configuration request password Unknown BIOS password can be removed by a Toshiba authorized service partner. However, the point is that the BIOS password can be removed if you n t know this password. I m wondering why this password is displayed when starting if you have not set it I think the password loss is the BIOS password. I will never see this request for password "Setup Utility". Any tips or to tackle the problem of pointers, which would be welcome. After EACH stop, at the next start-up presents impossible demand "password." So it comes to pull the battery (again), to the phase of "discharging", battery, turn on and - it boots. Unfortunately, it is not a permanent solution. ![]() It was a partial solution: we can start the machine with this procedure (phew!). I googled for hours (literally), closes the thing, I could find were instructions in. None of my password guess work (of course). I can't establish why it should do, or how I can possibly bypass it. Now when I turn it on, it just goes right to the request for password of Phoenix: I hit F2, F12, F8 or whatever it is. After three bad guess (of course they're wrong!, and it does not matter if I leave the field blank), the unit turns off. We have never set a password on this computer, and I've never seen this particular screen before. Instead of typical black screen startup options screen, I got a splash screen at the level type, with a request for password of "Phoenix TrustedCore Setup Utility. So, after downloading the tool, I pressed F8 to boot into safe mode. Kasperky removal instructions involve have their tool "kavremove" who say their instructions must be run in safe mode. We have (had) Kaspersky Anti-virus on this subject, but since his license has expired (and they didn't really like it), I was going to remove and install Avast. We have a Tosh Satellite A300-193 mobile (Code manufacturer: PSAJ1E-01000XEN) purchased from July 2008 (via Getech educational scheme). Satellite A300: cannot start: blocked by Phoenix TrustedCore Setup Utility Using an ASUS Geforce GT 740 has solved my problem. My solution to this problem was to return the Radeon card because Sapphire says that they don't and don't take BACK VESA graphics modes. This error occurs even on the NO UEFI bios as the series Optiplex and precision of 2007. A former 2xxx Geforce or Radeon HD4xxx, 3xxx, will work, but the latest maps on the side of the Radeon will not be until they start to support VESA BACK extensions in mode BIOS CSM. You need an Nvidia card to enter setup F2 because the map even in the video modes of CSM Legacy mode VESA of BACK IS NOT SUPPORTED, the bios needs. This is the case for many series Sapphire Radeon R7 R9. The screen is generally say is not compatible VESA Mode 103. ![]() ![]() It could be my monitor maybe and that does not display the CMOS configuration when it is actually on the screen or it could potentially be something else? Thanks for the replies! I have cleared my CMOS, changed the motherboard, so I replaced the battery technically. I can press F2 and it will say in the lower left corner, "Enter Setup", but after that he comes up with a blue screen on my monitor that does not support and then a screen white for ages and nothing happens. I replaced the old motherboard with a new one to see if it would make a difference (same card mother but replacement motherboard) and it does not. Whenever I have start my computer, it comes up with the error "The diskette drive 0 Seek Failure." I know how to solve this problem, but cannot enter the CMOS Setup utility to do this. Why can't I enter the CMOS configuration utility? I suggest you start in the last known good configuration.
